CALCUTTA, January 27
Two girls, who were charged with the murder of-.Mr Stevens, Comilla Magistrate, were sentenced to lito transportation to-day.
Two rioters were killed when the police fired oil a violent Congress crowd, who attempted to hold a meeting at Motihari in Bihar. Several police were injured in stone throwing.
