Four miners have been killed, while six more are missing, as the result of an explosion in the Llynypia colliery, in Rhondda Valley, Wales. FOURTEEN MEN RESCUED. LONDON, January 26. Rescue parties worked throughout the night at Llynypia?. They recovered ten bodies and rescued fourteen miners who were suffering from gas. Two of the rescuers died, one being John Evans, a well known tenor singer. A doctor, administering artificial respiration, collapsed and was carried to the surface where he recovered.
