\ ARAHURA STOCK SALE.
At the above yards yesterday 58 head of cattle and 148 fat sheep were ioiward to a good attendance of buyers. Competition was active throughout the fixture, any easing in prices being for beef pens. Fortunately no heavy cattle were yarded and buyebs were suited with handy weights to meet the season of the year. Prices equalled those of the opening sale of the year lor heel while mutton sold up to Addington rates. W. Jeffries and Co, made the following sales: —4 fat ewes at 13/6, 31 do 13/3, 28 wethers at 15/9, 10 do at 16/-. 2 light steers at £B/5/-, 2 do at £B, 3 do at £7 10/-, 2 do at £6/7/6, 4 do ai £6, 4 cows at £4/17/6, 2 do at £5/2/6, 4 steers at £5/15/-, 5 do at £7/17/6, 2 do at £B/10/-, 2do at £B/2/6. 1 diesnut gelding at £lO.
