The Manawatu-Rangitikei combined Motor Club, motor-cycle sports to-day were marred bv a fatal accident, in the seventh race, when B. Elwin (Palmerston North), crashed outside the rails at the bend past the straight and was killed outright. The riders wore called together and it was deeded that the further events he abandoned.
