BRITISH SCHOLARSHIPS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, January 20. The Prince of Wales, dining with the Argentine Chamber of Commerce of London, last night, announced the institution of Prince of Wales SchoJaarships to enable Argentine students to study at Oxford University. Arrangements had been made, lie said, to provide for two students from the Buenos Aires University to come to Oxford for two years and to receive the same treatment and welcome as those given the Rhodes Scholars from the British Dominions.

The Prince, who delivered part of his speech in fluent Spanish, emphasised the value of culture as well as commercial relations between Britain and Argentina.
