COVERNMENT’S DETERMINATION

(Australian Press Association.)

CANBERRA, January 19

Mr Latham, the Federal Attorney Generl, in a statement covering the Post Adelaide waterside disorders, said the Government would not tolerate violence or threats of violence. The Government would not- condone the crime, because it may have been initiated or provoked for industrial purposes. Such methods would not suf'ceed with the Government, Tt was equally futile for the Waterside Workers Federation to complain that trouble arose from the employment of foreigners.
