N.Z. TOURNEY. THE RINKS CHAMPIONSHIP. (By Telegraph — Be. Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, January 19. The section play in the rinks at the New Zealand Bowling Association's tournament was concluded to-day, when the seventh and eight rounds were played in perfect weather. Twenty-four rinks qualified for the post-section play, which will be commenced to-morrow, and continued on Thursday and Friday. Each rink will play three games per day, each of 21 heads, or three hours, until automatically eliminated by suffering two looses. There was an unfortunate incident on the Edge ware green this morning, when Mr Atkinson (United) fainted. He was attended by Dr. Nohle Adams, who was also playing on this green, and who advised his removal to . his home.

W. Aislihy, of the Edgeware Club, acted as substitute during the mornin ground, and in the afternoon A. Rodgers took his place in the United rink.
