NANKING GOVERNMENT

SHANGHAI, Janaury 14.
Sunfo, the son of the late Doctor Sun Yat Sen, and one of the leaders of the new Nanking Government, told representatives of the China pi ess that the Treasury was absolutely bare, and that the revenue is mortgaged for years to come. An emergency National Council is being formed. A later message says Chinese ban l ' - ers met and protested against the proposal to d|eclare a moratorium for domestic bonds in view of the serrousness of the situation. The few' leaders remaining, in Shanghai are proceeding to Nanking to endeavour to establish a Government by commission.
