STEAMERS COLLIDE

MISHAP ON CANTON RIVER. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received this day at 10-15 a.m.) HONGKONG, January 13. A Chinese steamer Sun Wall, collided with the British steamer Kinshan, early this morning in the Canton River. There was the greatest excitement among the passengers, including a party of Australian University students, on the Kinshan. The latter was not seriously damaged, but the Sun Wall suffered badly. Her passengers were transferred to the,Kinshan, which later reached Canton.
