NEW YORK, Jan. 12
Sir Malcolm Campbell U considering whether he will return to the United States within a month for another whirl along the sands of Daytona Beach, in Florida in his famous Bluebird machine. His American manager Bill Strum, said on Tuesday: Campbell is thoroughly convinced that Smith, the Australian driver, will break his speed record. As a result he has gone ahead pretty definitely with plans to bring his machine back here for a record atempt in February at Daytona Beach.”

In the event of “Wizard" Smith breaking the record, Sir .Malcolm Campbell will take the “Bluebird" to Daytona ■Beach in February in an attempt to establish new figures. The “Bluebird" i s flitted with a new radiator, and it is believed, is now capable of 270 miles an hour.
Kave Don's “Silver Bullet," in which
he made an unsuccessful attempt it' 1930 is also being aliened with a view to challenge the land record, after he lias completed efforts with Wakefield's new speed boat ".Miss England II."
