CARILLONIST’S VISIT
OFFER OF HOSPITALITY. For the opening ceremonies . of ' the Wellington war memorial carillon, Mr Clifford Ball, carillon : st for the Bourneville carillon, and Mrs Ball, will he in Wellington in April and May next. Mr Ball i s being lent to the Wellington Society by Cadbury Bros., Ltd., and an offer has been received from the manager of Hie Ho Ml St. George, Mr G. FT. Basuant, for Mr and Mrs Bali to he his guests during the time they are in New Zealand. The chairman of the Carillon Society's committee, Mr 'H. It. Bennett, said on (Saturday that the society had intended to ask that Mr Ball should be a guest of the State, as was considered fitting for such a national event; hut. as the management of the hotel had expressed a desire to he assoc’ated in some way with the carillon, i( s offer had lie n accepted.
