A LUXURY SHIP
“STRATHAIRD” FOR AUSTRALIA

Externally, a replica of the Imer, “Stratluiavar,” her sister ship, the “Strathaird” has just completed her fitting out at the dry dock at Livei pool. There she will undergo her spe > 1 trials on the Clyde. Externally she is just as much a dream ship as the “Strathmu ar. There is a gorgeous main deck lounge, with grouped green ornamented columns. The luxury cabin sutes are the last work in perfection. Hon. Alexander Shaw (a Director of the Bank of.:England), aikl Lady Margaret Shaw, pi sat at the head o! toe table at the official luncheon on the “Strathaird” which was attended by three hundred guests, as the ship lay at its anchorage, in the Mersey. Mr Shaw announced that Lord Inchcape had passed a very good night, which news was received with an outburst of applause. Mr Shaw then spoke impressively of the reparations and tin; war debts.
