The machine was piloted by Thomas Pethyridge. Jit contained two passengers, one of whom is W. Kingsford Smith, the brother of Air Commander Kingsford Smith, now in London. The plane crashed a distance of one hundred feet and it landed on saplings. It is a complete wreck, All three occupants were, badly shaken, hut were not hurt. . Ibex crawled from beneath the debus.
