HOLD UR CASHIER. ;Unitfld Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.---Copyright.) BERLIN, January 5. Two men, armed with revolvers, rushed into the office of a colliery in Westphalia. One of them held up the cashier, while the other rifled the safe of sixty pounds sterling, and dashed out. The cashier and workmen immediately chased them. One of the robbers ordered the driver of the tramcar to assist in their escape, and threatened to shoot a detective who was standing on the platform, but another detective, who lmd been hitherto unnoticed, was among the excited passengers, and lie ordered the thieves to surrender. Before the ■robbers could pull out their revolvers, the detective shot one of them dead. The other robber eenped in eonfuThe other robber escaped in the confucorpse of the one shot, and it was returned to the cashier.
