A NEW PROCEDURE
MICROPHONES IN COURT. (United Press Association. —By Electric , Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON, December 30. Microphones, experimentally installed at Manchester for the season’s Court proceedings recorded electromagnetically on a teel tape, forming a permanent record, reproducable by loud speakers or head phones. This system of keeping police records is already operating at Scotland Yard, but not yet in any of the Courts. It is suggested that it will greatly slioiten legal proceedings.
