It is reported that there is much uneasiness among small depositors in French provincial banks, and heavy withdrawals are being made by the people,, who are placing their money in safe deposits. Many banks are profiting from the sale of India, Australian and American loans. Nobody is touching the best joint stock securities owing to extensive depreciation.
