6 pzs, Fethei'-Flake; Strawberries; 1 breakfast cup syrup from bottled fruit; 1 level tablespoon Maizena. Line some deep patty tins ‘ with Fether-Flake, put a small crust of bread in centre and bake. When cooked take out bread. Fill pastry cases with the syrup thickened with Maizena, to which strawberries have been added, one or two to each dase. Colour the syrup pink with carmine. Fether-Flake is pastry ready to bake. 9d per lb. at the Ernest Adams Ltd. Cake Shop, Revell St., Hokitika.
