INQUIRY TO BE HELD
CITY ADMINISTRATION. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) ■ //"WELLINGTON, December 28. MrVp'E. Marton of Melbourne, who, .'wii/h Mr H. D. Vickery of Wellingtonfiwill conduct a n inquiry into the Wellington City Administration, has arrived from Sydney. Mr Marton, who will be Chairman of the Commission, was for many years City Engineer at Melbourne, and when Sydney was placed a Commission he was the the three Commissioners appoitpjjdi Since then he has been engaged inquiries, including investigations into civic affairs at Hobart. The scope ctf the! Wellington inquiry is very -wide, and includes the investigation of every branch of the corporation’s activities. It is expected the inquiry will extend over three months.
