The result of the Viceroys’ Cup, of one and three-quarter miles, is: Nightjar 9.3 (Edwards) 1; Shipshape 9.3 (Carslake) 2; Pendennis 9.3 (Dobie) 3. Eleven started. Won by a neck. Tiihe 3.1. The cup is valued at £IOO, and the first prize is 50,000 rupees. RANDWICK RACES. SYDNEY, The weather was brilliantly fine, and hot for the holiday. The Randwick course was excellent for the Australian Jockey Club’s summer meeting. Results:— December Stakes: —Nef 1; Tingalba 2; Kuvera 3. Won by lengths. Time 1.0. Chisholm Handican : —High Disdain 1; Tom Pinch 2; Casque D/Or 3. Won by a long head. Time 1.12. Summer Cup:—Vertigern 1; Inducement 2; Spearman 3. Won by a length. Time 2.451.
