CUNARD INTENTIONS. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON, December 23. Cunard officials are unlikely to agree to the French suggestion to cease building 'the giant liner. ‘‘ln laying down the. big ship at Clyde, the Canard policy was to regain British prestige in the North Atlantic. Does France, or any other country think Britain is going to relinquish that and become a third or fourth rate power among the merchant fleets of the world? The Cunard is out for prestige and business.”
