Parliament has opened at Kremlin. The Premier, M. Molotov, painted a rosy picture of the successful progress of the five year plan. Soviet industry had in three years exceeded tlie programme. Production had reached 22,207 milliards roubles, while the total scheduled amount to be reached in 1933 was 33,495 milliards. M. Pat-muski, Chairman of tlie Executive Council states that, this year alone, 2700 tresh workers were attracted irtto i ministries. The national revenue for 1932 would lie forty-nine million roubles.
