A'RAHURA;'STOCK SALE. 1 The usual fixture at the above yards yesterday 'brought forward an' entry of 45 lambs, 18 fat sheep and about 50 fat cattle which were -submitted .to the usual assembly of buyers. Competition , was restri'eted to butchers and actual -requiremenis which for the season'of the year wat not- extensive. ..Beef prices were in keeping with those, ruling 'at other markets, the best dx making 26s per hundred, heifer beef -to 23s 6d, cow beef 20s. Lambs were in better demand ajjife sold well. . -4*s W. Jeffries and Co. report the fol* j lowing prices for lambs on account Nlif? C) M. Harris : 14s 6d, 14s 3d, 13s 3d a|t| a pen of hoggets at 13a 3d. iPen. p/ lambs for C. Atkinson passed at lls M. . For W. Graham, light steers £6:-^ £6 17s 6d. Medium weight cowa £4 toj*. £5. For Mr Amberger light cows from £3 2s 6d to £4. For a client-, .medium weight steers £8 15s .to £9 10s. Fat cows £5 5s to £6. Heifers to £5 17s 6d. ' The next -sale at the above yards will ' be* held on Monday, 11th January.
