Captain de Richelave commanded a company- in the 4th Regiment of Austrian/Uhlans (lancers) during the entire World War. He served three years on the Russian front and: one year on the Piave (Italian). Previous to that time he served for another country in one of the Balkan wars. , In addition to acting, de Richelave taught Novarro, C. Aubrey Smith, William Bakewell, Kent Douglass, Glenn Tryon and others members of the cast .the innermost secrets of the Austrian drill manual in the brilliant military days before the war. Helen Chandler has the feminine lead in the new Novarro vehicle, which was adapted from the celebrated play by Arthur Schnitzler. Jean Hersholt and 0. Aubrey Smith have important roles.
