FURTHER DECREASE. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association j WELLINGTON, December 17. The unemployment registrations for the Dominion, for the week ending December 14th., totalled 46,191, as against 47,096 a week earlier, a decline of 905. The decrease for the previous week was 439. The total includes 30,333 men with dependents and 15,858 without dependents. The number of men in part-time relief work was 36,836, leavinjg 9,350 men registered but unplaced. This is less by 4,295 than last week’s figures. OHRSTMAS RELIEF. INVERCARGILL, December 16. The City Council voted £7OO to tide the unemployed over Christmas, giving all full work during the last week’ in the year. The number concerned is 328.
