Westland Acclimatisation and Tourist Society

Armstrong and D. J. Evans. Apology was made for the absence of Mr R. Paterson. The minutes of the previous meeting were confirmed, and the outward correspondence approved . INWARD CORRESPONDENT. From Department of Internal Affairs notifying Clinker was declared to be. imported game.—Received.' From same acknowledging proposals by Society for open season for game iff Westland 1932 season.—-Received. From same several 'letters relative to the protected deer season in South Westland, March and April, 1932.—Received. Secretary to reply in regard to the points raised and g’-ve the required information.

From Keith Richards, Rot-orua, applying for deer stalking block. —Received and granted. From Caliari and Stuart applying for batch site at Lake Kanieri.— Received and granted, rental £1 per annum. From Grey District Society forwarding cheque £197 10s 6d on -account of hatchery expenses and purchase of ova. Received with thanks. GENERAL.

The accounts were passed for payment. '
