' 'FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4th. The Council of the above Society met at the County Chambers at 7.30 o'clock. 'Present; Dr Teichelmann (President), Messrs W. Brad-don,, J. King, E. J. Lloyd, R. Stuart, A. C. Armstrong and D. J. Evans. Apology was made for the absence of Mr R. Paterson. The minutes of the previous meeting were confirmed, and the outward correspondence approved . INWARD CORRESPONDENT. From Department of Internal Affairs notifying Clinker was declared to be. imported game.—Received.' From same acknowledging proposals by Society for open season for game iff Westland 1932 season.—-Received. From same several 'letters relative to the protected deer season in South Westland, March and April, 1932.—Received. Secretary to reply in regard to the points raised and g’-ve the required information.
From Keith Richards, Rot-orua, applying for deer stalking block. —Received and granted. From Caliari and Stuart applying for batch site at Lake Kanieri.— Received and granted, rental £1 per annum. From Grey District Society forwarding cheque £197 10s 6d on -account of hatchery expenses and purchase of ova. Received with thanks. GENERAL.
The accounts were passed for payment. '
It - was decided to adjourn until February 4th.
