GIPSY FUNERAL. NOTED ARTIST’S ORATION, LONDON, November 25. Wearing a slouch hat and a red and white muffler and with a cigarette between liis fingers, Augustus John, R.A., delivered an oration at the gipsy funeral of Dr. John Sampson, of Liverpool University, who was a life-long friend of the gipsies.
