(1) Whether the statement of the prisoner, ■ dated 6th, July, 1931, was properly admitted in evidence at the trial.
(2) Whether the learned trial Judge (Justice Blair) wrongly directed the jury in warning them that the life of the prisoner was not necessarily forfeit if the jury convicted him of murder.
It is expected that the argument will occupy at least all day to-morrow.
