Mom kton M.A., will speak from 1V A under the auspices of the W.E.A., his subject being “Some International Problems—Russia, Part 1.” The speaker on the International Programme will be 'Mr A. B. Chappell, M.A., who will fake for his subject “The Press and the World.” 2YA NOTES. The 2YA. Salon Orchestra will supply the instrumental portion of the evening’s popular programme. Tom Cooper (bass), an • Aucklander, and a newcomer to 2YA, should prove an acquisition. He will sing “The Floral .’Dance,’’ “The Dawg.” and “Asleep ’Neath the Dark Blue Wave.” Florence Penney will again delight listeners in songs at the piano A feature of the programme will be a one-act play, “The Imposter’’ (by ■Scott), produced by Victor S. Llovd. The play should create more than passing interest. It has a New Zealand setting, and was one of the prize-winners during the recent “Radio Record” Piny Writing Competition. COMMENT’S FROM 4YA. “Adult Education per medium of tli Wireless” will be the- W.E.A. talk by Mr Lloyd Ross. A relay of concerts to be given bv the Dunedin Philharmonic Society under Signor Squarise will take place. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 2nd. All stations will be broadcasting election results to-night.
