To morrow’s poll requires that the electors will think nationally in the public interests. Party or personal predeiictions are to be put aside, if tne country is to be served best. The electorate is fortunate in having the choice of a pledged supporter to the Coalition—one who by his public service already has shown him to he capable and worthy of a wider public trust. Mr Greenslade is the Coalition candidate, enjoying full Government support, and has a record which entitles him to the public support. So far as party interests are concerned, the Reform and United support is in unison in the desire to keep' the Coalition Government in power, because it is 'steering a safe course for Xew Zealand. Local followers of either party are uniting in their support of Mr Greenslade, and it will be very surprising if he does not win the seat for th e Government by a handsome majority. Those who have supported Labour hitherto can vote for the ■Coalition candidate with the confidence that the country’® interests will come first, and thereby enable the best interests of the working man to he considered, by reason of the resulting national stability. Vote Greenslade to-morrow.
