AIR PILOTS. PRESENTATION TO CHICHESTER. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON, November 26. . In the presence of many famous plots, including FieJdon, Spooner, Amy Johnson, and’ Cobham at the annual meeting of 'Empire Air Pilots’ Guild, the Prince of Wales presented Chichester with the Johnston Trophy. He said he had sufficient experience of flying in different parts of the world to know the greatness of the responsibility on air pilots and navigators. It was a profession giving valuable courageous service. Mi's Johnston, widow of R.lOl hero, whose memory the trophy perpetuates, was presented to the Prince, who afterwards lengthily chatted with the pilots, discussing air problems. Amy Johnson congratulated Chichester whom she last met in a Japanese i.ospiuil where Chichester was recovering after the Matsura' crash. Amy Johnson, who was on the way to Russia via Japan, called to wish him good luck.

The Communists, Sheepherd and Allison, cabled on 26th October wVre charged with attempting to incite « mutiny in the Navy, were sentenced to-day, {he former to twenty months’ "hard, and 'the latter to three years' penal servitude. Allison had already served eighteen months for using a false passport in 1927 at Bombay, where he had gone purposely as a Communist agitator.
