okaritq dredge The secretary of the Okarito Five Mile Beach Gold Dredging Company, Ltd., has issued the following report for the week ended Saturday, November 21:— “Six weeks ago it was decided to work the western side of the northern end ,of the claim, leaving the eastern side t'o Ik* worked a.t some futiVro date. This was deemed advisable owing to a r e at intrusion being encountered which gave an uneven dredging bottom. To enable the area to worked to the best advantage, dredging operations were on Novembers until 10 a.m. on NovenibC'Y 20, ?o that the main pipe line could be shifted to a position more .uiMie I<* future operations. As there were only twenty-two hour’s digging during the week, no wash-up was earned cut
