CLIP IN GOOD ORDER. j

AUCKLAND, November 23

.The first sale, of the Dominion’s new wool clip is to be befd here on Satuida>y, November (2S, commencing at 9 a.m. During the last few weeks shearing conditions in the Auckland province have been ideal, and faimeis have got well on with the seasons programme. From what has come to hand it would appear thait the clip is in excellent condition, and will compare favourably with the standard of recent years. In addition to the new clip substantial quantities held over from last season, on account of unsatisfactory market conditions, are fikely to be offered. At the last sale in Auckland in March the prices realised an average of 6|d per lb. compared with 4d in February. A few years back Is 6cl a lb was a ■ ommon realisation. From these figures it will be seen that there is a very big margin for improvement if Auckland farmers are to get a reasonable return for their labours. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. ' PRICE AVERAGES 10d.
