A wrathful crowd of four hundred made three attempts at Armdale to throw Communists into a creek, but on each occasion their prey was rescued by the police, one Red being roughly handled.

Failing to find any more Communists in the streets, the angry crowd conducted a hunt ait a boarding house, but discovered that those they were seeking had left the town. 'Seething with excrement and action, the citizens left no doubt as to the treatment visiting Communists would receive.
