SALE OF LAND
HIGH PRICE REALISED. DUNEDIN, November 18. It is not an everyday experience now to find an upset price for land exceeded in the bidding by over 50 per cent. That happened at the Dunedin Lands Office yesterday when a section of the Janefield settlement, containing ten acres, was submitted at auction. The upset price was £BOO. There was a large attendance and bidding was spirited, the section going eventually at £1230
