UNEMPLOYED DISAGREE,

ARGUMENT ENDS IN BLOWS

TIMARU, November 18.

Disgraceful, conduct marked a meeting of Timaru unemployed last night, the gathering terminating in uproar. One member, it is alleged, was felled to the floor tvith a blow to the point after , a heated argument, with another,’ in the course of which one of the- men, it is stated, called the other a shuffler, not a worker.

The meeting was called to hear facts regarding conditions at the Lindis Pass Camp. A large number of women from the Housewives' Ulllol} wore present bv invitation.
