WESTLAND ELECTORATE

Mr J. W. Greenslade, Coalition candidate for Westland, continued his tour of South Westland on Tuesday travelling round in the Harihari district. In the evening the candidate addressed acrowded attendance in the Hiarduiri Hail. Mr William Searle, M.C.C.. occupied the chair. The candidate delivered an interesting address, and was splendidly received throughout. There were not questions, and a vote of thanks was carried by acclamation. To-day Mr Greenslade travelled north, uoj.ng on to Greymouth this afternoon and he is to deliver a speech at the Town Hall, Greymouth, to-night. On Thursday night Mr Greenslade will address the electors at Hie Princess Theatre, Hokitika. The chair will be taken at 8 o'clock.
