LABOUR PARTY OPTIMISM. Harry Holland recently delivered a speech in Wellington, with purports to reveal the Labour Party political programme. It was a grandiose epereft. It contained theoretical ideas for the elimination of unemployment and so on. The only trouble is, that while the schemes sound perfect they wall not hold water. They are like a boat which looks sound enough out of the water, but will not keep the water out when put to work. Political Labour is like that—nice to listen t-o and talk about, buit impracticable.
