WEDDING BELLS
WRIGHT—NISSON. On .November 9th, at the little Church of Our Lady of the Woods, Ann Caroline Nisson, second daughter of Mr and Mrs G. Nisson, Matainui, was married to William John Wright, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Wright of Pukekura. Rev Father O’Doherty of Ross, performed the ceremony and celebrated the Nuptial Mass. . The bride, who entered the church on the arm ’of her father, wore an ivory crepe-de-chine gown of: graceful simplicity, falling to the ankles alid h veil of beautifully-embroidered tulle, aitanged with 01‘atige blossoms. Her sheaf of arum lilies,'Silver shoes and stockings to tone completed the ensemble, In attendance n« bridsemaid, was Miss Tepesa Nisson, sister of the bride, who wore a graceful frock of floral’ georgette with hat, shoes and stockings to tone. Mr James "Wright ably carried out the duties of best man. Following the ceremony, a large numb'er of guests were entertained at the residence of the bride’s parents, when the usual toasts were proposed and duly honoured. Later in the day, the happy couple left for Christchurch by private car, the bride travelling in a, beige rep costume with hat and shoes to match.
