Rounding the turn, going out of the straight on the last round, Wraclder moved up, and made a break of three lengths on Harold Logan. In the hack straight, the speed was very fast, the order being: Kingcraft, Lindbergh, Wraclder, Harold Logan, Logan Park, with Harold Logan overtaking the leaders. The order into the straight was: Kingcraft, Free Advice, Lindbergh, Wrackler, Harold (Logan and Logan Chief. Harold Logan finished brilliantly, and he won by a length from Kingcraft, Free Advicte was- half a length away.' Wraclder was a similar distance, back. Logan Park was fifth.
