BAKERS’ UNIONS
NEW AWARD IN PROSPECT. DUNEDIN. November 11. To-dav the Arbitration Court heard an application by the Bakers’ aim Pastrycook’s Union for exemption from the operation of the general order involving a reduction of 10 per cent in wages. At the conclusion of the hearing Mr Justice Frazer said that this finished the round of applications by Bakers’ Unions in New Zealand, and the court ought to be able to announce its decision shortly, and get out a new award.
