LONDON, November 11. 1 The “Daily Telegraph” reports that Air Andrew Mellon, • the American Secretary to the Treasury, has paid one million six hundred thousand pounds sterling for about twenty old masters from the Hermitage Collection at the Leningrad.
The Soviet Government have been quietly selling'Russian art treasures of which the most important are going to Mr Mellon,
