With one exception, Coalition- candidates to contest • the five Wellington seats at the General Election in December have now been selected. They are as follows: Wellington Central, Robert Darrpck, . (Coalition United/; Wellington South, N. A. Foden, 31. A., L.L.M., (Coalition Reform); Wellington North, G. A. Troup (Coalition Reform); Wellington Suburbs, R. A. Wright, M.P., (Coalition Reform). PETONE SEAT. WELLINGTON, November 3. Mr James Kerr has been selected as the Official Coalition candidate, for i the Hutt Seat. Mr Kerr . was the , United Candidate at the Hutt byeelection in 1929.

TIMARU, November 3

It is possible that in addition to Rev. Clyde, Carr, Labour M.P., there will be four other aspirants for the Timaru seat ill Parliament. Mr H. N. Armstrong (Reform) is likely to be selected as the official Coalition candidate. Mr W. Anglandhns definitely announced himself as an Independent Liberal candidate. It ia understood Mr H. W. Hall, who was selected as the United candidate before the Coalition Government was formed, and Mr Andrew Kennedy' (Independent Liberal), are determined to enter the field if Mr Armstrong receives an official endorsement. ■ MR SEMPLE’S OPPONENT. WELLINGTON, November 3. No announcement has been yet made as to the selection, of a Coalition candidate ‘. for the Wellington East seat. The choice will be between T. Forsyth, J. J. Clark and W. J. Gaudin. ~ . AUCKLAND SEATS. WELLINGTON, November 3. Mr Stewart Reid has been selected as the official Coalition candidate for the Ranlan seat.
