PUSHED OFF STEEPLE
MURDER FOR INSURANCE. (United Press Association. —Fy Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) AMSTERDAM, Oct. 30. A diabolical murder was revealed alien a slate contractor was sentenced for life for pushing a workman from a steeple of an Amsterdam church. The contractor had insured j the man for five thousand sterling, ■when tlie man fell on March 29th, 1929, the contractor collected the money.' A year passed b-fore any suspicion was aroused. Then tiie contractor was arrested. He now I i>s been convicted of thrusting the woj liman from the steeple in order to collect the insurance.
