sfVERYBODYS PICTURES. “TEMPLE TOWER.” “Temple Tower,” a thrilling mystery will be screened at the Princess Theatre this evening. Local film fans who pride themselves on being. “picture wise” will have an opportunity. to exercise their wits at this presentation when this thrilling, ha filing melodramatic novelty commences and' will he able to test their ingenuity against that; of the Fox Movietone studio workers. Director Donald Gallaher decided to try out its mystery features. The picture was run before mixed assemblage of employees, laboratory men, stenographers, extras, assistant directors, electricians and the like. The only requirement was that, none of them should have anything to do with the picture, or know anything about the story. Each was banned a bit of paper to write down the name of, the actor playing the dual role of The Strangler and ot a “straight” character, as soon as convinced as to the mystery man’s identity. “Temple Tower” is another atm more exciting narrative about that redoubtable adventurer, “Bulldog Drummond,” played hv ‘Kenneth Mac Kenna, who was acclaimed for his performance in “Men Without Women” and other Fox [Movietone pictures. Marceline Day enacts the role of the heroine in this all-talking production directed by Donald Gallaher from Llewellyn Hughes’ scenario of H. C. McNeile’s famous novel of the same name.
