BUTCHER ROBBED
KNOCKED ON THE HEAD. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) WANGANUI, October 28. William Henry Symons, a butcher of Wanganui East, has reported to the police that early yesterday morning. while in his shop, pepper was thrown into his eyes, being at the same time hit on the head, knocked down and then robbed of £l4 from bis pocket. The money was shop takings which he had taken home on Labour Day and brought back with a view to banking.
