So many important changes have marked New Zealand politics during tlie past year that the full significance of the Government’s decision to go to the country as a Coalition as soon as the work of the’ session can he ended, is Ln danger of being overlooked. Whatever confusion of thought- may have existed has been swept away, and tlm- country has had placed before it the clear-cut issue whether the • policy of the Coalitum is to be completed or whether the Labour .Party is to be given a mandate to do tlie work of economic reconstruction in its own- way. —The Dominion.
