MYSTERIOUS DEATH
INVESTIGATIONS CONCLUDED. MAN CHARGED.WITH MANSLAUGHTER. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 27. Investigation into - the circumstances surrounding the death of Percy William Childs, carrier, of 5 Crosby -Terrace, who was found unconscious outside the Royal Tiger .-Hotel in Abel Smith St. on the 17th October culminated on Saturday evening i n rest of William Henry ter, when Boyce MeNeil, S.M., to-day charge^;, s, ‘with committing manslaughter by 5 ’ unlawful ly striking Childs. '• 1 Sub-Inspector Ward asked for a remand until the 4th of November which was granted.bail, bail being allowed.
