All Ireland is discussing the banning of the twelve associations under the new amendment of the Free State Constitution. The names of the organisations included in the ban have surprised the public, as they had been working so secretly that their existence had bedn little known. The banning has been a great blow to the organisations, who thought that thetr true activities bad not been suspected, including the promoters of the Fianna Eireann, which is composed of the Republican Boy Scouts.

The Civil Guards have now been reinforced by a plain-clothes flying squad, who are in readiness for any emergency.
