HUCHES DEFEATS DONOVAN. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, October 21. Archie Hughes defeated Tommy Donovan (Waitara) on points, in a bout of ten rounds, at ITawera. to-night. It was a good display. There was very fast boxing, and the margin between the pair was very slight. Donovan is the featherweight champion of New Zealand, and Hughes is the New South Wales featherweight champion.
