HOKITIKA POULTRY CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of members ol the Hokitika Poultry Society was held iu the Public -Library on Wednesday evening 21st inst. Mr (J. Hart being in the chair. There were also present Messrs W. E. Richards, J. Breeze Junr., V. Bergamini, E. Breeze, T. Lynch, J. H. Breeze, D. Breeze and Secretary. Apologies were received on behalf of Messrs J. J. Breeze and W. Hall.
The audited balance sheet, which showed a credit balance of £33 14s lid wqs read and approved. A vote of tnanks was passed to the citizens who liberally gave donations to the Society. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron: D. J. Evans Esq. President ; J. J. Breeeze Esq. V-ce-Presidents: Messrs H. Newman, W 7. E. (Williams, J. J. Mclntosh, W. Keller, ,H. M. Coulson, P. Renton, R. Ford, Dr Teichelmann, R. Sanders, W. McMullan, Chairman: Mr C. Hart. Secretary and Treasurer: Mr I). Breeze. Committee: Messrs V. Bergamini, C. ‘Pfahlert, W. Hall, T. Lynch, J. C. Taylor, F. Groufsky, E. Breeze, J. H. Breeze, R. Ross, E. C. Toohev, R. Herring, J. Morgan, R. Bell, F. Ballinger. , It was resolved that next year s show be held on July Bth and 9th subject to the Association’s approval.
